Terms of Service
These terms apply to the LucidVector website, the China Signal research membership, and related digital content. Please read them before purchasing or using paid access.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information needed to create and maintain your account, keeping your sign-in details secure, and activity under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without permission.
China Signal membership
China Signal is a research and information membership operated by LucidVector. At launch, the 12-month membership is $69 paid upfront; the regular price is $99. It does not automatically renew. The price and included benefits shown at checkout when you purchase govern that purchase.
After successful payment, members receive access to the paid research then available, including China Signal 01: Marketing on the Chinese Internet. The current offer also describes six in-depth China Signal reports during the membership year and one members-only China Signal Brief each week. Additional research and member content may be released during the 12-month period. The membership provides digital access to content through the site; it does not transfer ownership of the content.
Use of research and intellectual property
LucidVector and its licensors retain copyright and other rights in the research, site content, and presentation. You may read and use purchased research for your own reasonable personal or internal business purposes, including informing decisions within your business. Do not resell, redistribute, mass share, republish, publicly post, or make paid content available to others without written permission.
Research and professional advice
LucidVector and China Signal provide research, analysis, and informational content. They do not replace professional legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other regulated advice. Information may be incomplete, change over time, or require interpretation for your circumstances. You remain responsible for your decisions and for obtaining qualified advice where needed.
Availability, updates, and conduct
We may correct, update, reorganize, or replace research as new information becomes available. We aim to keep the service available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. We may suspend access where there is abuse, fraud, unauthorized redistribution, or mass sharing, while considering the circumstances and applicable law.
Custom advisory
Custom China Market Advisory is a separate service starting from $499. Its scope, price, and any project-specific terms will be discussed separately before a project begins. It is not included in the standard membership unless an offer explicitly says otherwise.
Third-party services and external links
The site may link to external websites or use third-party services, including a payment provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. LucidVector is not responsible for the content or operation of external sites it does not control.
Warranties and liability
We work to present research carefully, but do not guarantee that every source, analysis, forecast, or recommendation will be complete, error-free, or suitable for every business. To the extent permitted by applicable law, LucidVector is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or research. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
